Girl came into my shop with her boyfriend. Started bitching about how all the Games Workshop guys are the really sad basement dwellers she expected. I wasn’t going to say anything until she said that she walked past a GW and started laughing at the guys inside.

I didn’t let that slide. I informed her that some of those guys are my friends and aren’t all like that. “Oh no, it’s cool though. I am a total nerd love. I love nerds.” which turned into awkward laughter. And in my head I was like… LEAVE MY COMIC BOOK SHOP.

i’ve known for a while now what’s there. i’ve heard it. i’ve read it many times. It’s something to believe in.
After a brief gap in time i’ve actually heard it, next to me. It’s old and new all at once. It’s a part of you that was missing because you couldn’t just reach out and touch it. Now it has finally been touched.

Not waiting another two years.
